Kamloops RCMP Seek Public Assistance in Locating Missing Senior and Dog

The Kamloops RCMP is appealing to the public for help in locating 81-year-old Diane Freeman and her dog, Banjo, after she failed to return home on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Freeman was last seen departing a grocery store in the 1800-block of Tranquille Road at approximately 5:15 p.m.

She was driving a red 2019 Mazda CX5 with BC license plate MK176L and was accompanied by her grey Morkie cross. Investigators describe her disappearance as highly out of character, causing significant concern for her safety.

Freeman is described as a Caucasian woman, 5’7” tall, weighing 160 lbs, with grey hair and eyes. She wears glasses. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000, citing file 2026-11364.
