The incident took place shortly after 10:00 a.m. on April 17, 2026, within the 700-block of Central Street West. According to initial reports, the individual entered the building and fled the scene shortly after obtaining a small quantity of cash.

Frontline officers arrived at the location within minutes of receiving the emergency call. They immediately began securing the area, conducting interviews with witnesses, and meticulously reviewing video surveillance footage from the establishment. Through these investigative efforts, authorities were able to quickly identify a potential suspect. Following up on this information, officers located the man at his residence and took him into custody without further incident. He remains in police custody as the formal investigation continues.

If anyone in the vicinity saw the clothing, picked it up, or has information regarding its current location, they are strongly encouraged to contact the police. Information from the community often proves vital in building a comprehensive case and ensuring all evidence is properly documented.
